Its astonishing and marvelous to go through how Bhutan grow from an embryo to a gigantic tree. Now with passage of time. Everything changes and lets change for the best. I wish BHUTAN will be happy for rest of the time to come because of our forefathers, young, smart, intelligent, dynamic, dedicated and energetic leader the 5th King.
LONG LIVE 5th KING.

How exciting it was to read about the coronation of the new young king! My family and I wish him many happy years ruling his kingdom. When we lived in Nepal from 1968 to 1972, our charming neighbors were Jigme Dorji and his paart-Irish wife who I understand was from calcutta. i used to play cards and majong at her house.I understand that he attended Cornell University in the U.S. Their son, who played with my two sons, was named Palden. Is he the uncle or cousin of the present king? Who can tell me?

We are very thankful and grateful to our Beloved Kings and their ancestors for safeguarding our nation, thus endangering their precious lives, protecting their subjects.Truly, they are the king of kings and kings of people. Today, on this day, We pray for the souls of our past kings and long , healthy and blissful life for our Beloved King Jigme Singye Wangchuck and His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck. We will always remember them for their love and concern for every single Bhutanese people. I urge all my fellow citizens to come together to celebrate the historic events " The Centennial Celebrations" and "The Coronation of Our Beloved Fifth DrukGyalpo" and the new form of government " The Constitutional Democracy". Let us all pray and celebrate the Day. Lets us think and be grateful to Jigme Namgyal for being a Great Leader. And Ofcourse All the Kings especially Our Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck. Me and my Family love you so much that we always look up to as our Guardian Angel. We have nothing to offer but our devotion and prayers for your health and long life full of happiness with royal family.

It certainly made me very happy to read this 100 year history of social evolution toward decentralization and fuller democracy in Bhutan. I will be using the concept of Gross National Happiness (GNH) in my writings about the role of music & dance in the lives of children. I hope to visit Bhutan some day to understand how drumming, dancing, singing, in the lives of children, are contributing to GNH.
