My name is Gelay Jamtsho. I am 32 years old. I live in Thimphu. I am a free-lance web developer, and a photographer. I also part time as a tour guide. I am a mountain biking addict. If I had enough money, I’d rather hang out at VAST all year round.
Bhutan is going through extra ordinary times. This is a blog about being part of the history that is being written right before my own eyes.
After I started this blog, I have become a copy and paste expert. I haven’t been able to write as much as I’d have liked. Most of the stories on this blog are from various publications – especially Kuensel, Bhutan Observer and Bhutan Times. Many thanks to these 3 excellent newspapers.
UPDATE: During the Coronation, I served His Majesty the 5th Druk Gyalpo as a Royal Photograher (with 2 other Royal Photographers). I am still recovering from this overwhelming experience.
