His Majesty returned to Thimphu from Punakha on the 2nd of November, 2008. His Majesty was in Punakha to receive the Dacred Dar from the Holy Machhen in the Punakha Dzong.
His Majesty spent time with thousands of people, both young and old, who lined up the highway to offer their Thridars to His Majesty.

The King’s Coronation ceremonies are impressive and touching.
I wish I can witness His Majesty in the sacred Dar as well as his loving kindness towards his people.
No wonder the Bhutanese have unwavering love for their King.
